NOTES
Josh Fleming started for Buffalo and wasn't quite as sharp as he has been, 4.1 innings, 91 pitches (!), two runs on seven hits.
Willie McIvor doubled in two runs in the first inning. After I said yesterday that Charles McAdoo's home runs were down in May, he hit one in the eighth to break a tie and give Buffalo a 3-2 lead. Buffalo had just six hits but that was enough for a win.
For NH Austin Cates gave up four runs in four plus innings, Aaron Munson also gave up four in a game where NH were well beaten.
Jorge Burgos hit his first home run of the season for the Fisher Cats only run. He also added a single and a walk. Sean Keys singled, doubled and walked twice.
Spokane pitchers had some trouble with the strike zone, they walked ten Vancouver hitters. The Spokane starter ran into big trouble in the second inning, walking the bases full. The hot Alexis Hernandez stepped up and hit a grand slam. Hernandez added a sac fly in the fourth before Dub Gleed hit as three run home run and the rout was on. Maddox Latta added a three run home run in the fifth. The C's had just seven hits but scored 15 runs,
Daniel Guerra threw five shutout innings with six K's.
For the second night in a row Dunedin had a walk off win. They needed to score two runs in the tenth. Fort Myers walked in the tying run then Blaine Bullard singled in the winning run. Five Jays had two hits in the game. Among them were Bullard, Juan Sanchez and Edward Duran.
Karson Ligon came off the IL to start. He struck out five in 2.2 innings. Dylan Watts went four innings allowing just one run.
The FCL Jays were beaten 5-0. Franklin Rojas continued hitting, his two hits kept his average above .300. Angel Guzman has been hitting well recently too, his two hits brought his average up to .279.
