NOTES

Buffalo had a rollercoaster finish. Buffalo had a one run lead headed to the top of the ninth. But Adam Macko gave up two runs. In the bottom of the ninth Josh Rivera hit a solo home run to tie the game. The Bisons turned a double play in the top of the tenth to preserve the tie. Eloy Jimenez singled in the winning run in the bottom of the inning. The Mets had put in a position player to pitch in the tenth. Jimenez and Rivera had three hits each. Jay Harry had two hits in his debut.

The Mets scored three runs off Grant Rogers in 4.1 innings. Yimi Garcia was up to 97 mph but was charged with a run.

Gage Stanifer had a mixed start. He did walk four in five innings but he struck out five. Hartford scored two off him. The game was tied at two until the eighth inning when Hartford scored five runs off Aaron Munson.

NH's two runs came off a two home run from Carter Cunningham.

Vancouver were trailing 9-1 after six innings before scoring a few late runs to make it look more respectable. Landen Maroudis continued his struggles. In 3.2 innings Everett scored five runs off him. Maroudis walked five and only had one K. Carson Myers followed and he gave up eight hits and four runs in 3.1 innings. In total Everett had 18 hits.

The C's had three home runs. Manny Beltre and Alexis Hernandez each hit solo shots. But the big hitter was Tucker Toman. He doubled in the first inning, singled in the third, homered in the fifth and singled in the seventh. He did strike out in the ninth. I mentioned yesterday that Toman had a great April and a rough May. But now in nine June games he is hitting .407 with a huge OPs of 1.431.

Dunedin had 16 hits to score 15 runs. They had built a 10-0 lead after seven innings. The Jays had two home runs, Aldo Gaxiola hit a solo shot in the second inning. Jake Cook hit his first pro home run, a grand slam, in the ninth inning. He will probably forget it was hit off a position player who was pressed into pitching duties. The pitch came in at 35.7 mph.

Jojo Parker broke out with four hits in six AB's. His two run triple in the third inning set Dunedin on their way. His last two hits came off 35 mph pitches. Juan Sanchez had a single, double, two walks and a lineout at 107.9 mph. Newly promoted Owen Gregg had two hits.

Silvano Hechavarria is now somewhat back on track. He did throw five shutout innings, but he only had one K and just two whiffs.

In the FCL Franklin Rojas singled and added a two run triple. Giacomo Taschin started and in four innings he gave up two home runs for three runs total. On the positive side he struck out six.
