Vancouver Canadians

The Vancouver Canadians won 12-5 Friday at Avista Stadium against the Spokane Indians.

The game was tied 3-3 after three but it was the two run fourth and four run fifth that proved to be the difference.

Vancouver finished this contest with 12 runs, 13 hits, two home runs and 27 total bases.

Every C’s player registered at least a hit with Eric Snow going 3/4 with two runs and an RBI and Jr Freethy going 2/5 with the two hits and an RBI.

The series continues today in Spokane. Starters for today’s game are Gilberto Batista for Vancouver (4-3,7.53) and Everett Catlett for Spokane. (1-3, 3.88). First pitch is at 7:05pm PDT.


New Hampshire Fisher Cats

New Hampshire squandered a strong start from Gage Stanifer and were 5-2 losers Friday to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

Stanifer had eight strikeouts and no walks including three straight and a punch out against Francisco Lindor who is rehabbing from injury with Binghamton.

Mason Olson added to the strikeout total in relief giving The Fisher Cats 14 total for the day but the Fisher Cats could only score a single run in the top of the first and another run in the eighth.

The series continues today with a 6:07pm first pitch in Binghamton. Austin Cates (1-2, 4.88 ERA) starts for the Fishers Cats. Binghamton will counter with southpaw Max Green (0-0, 4.08 ERA).


Dunedin Blue Jays

The Dunedin Blue Jays were pounded 10-1 by the Lakeland Flying Tigers Friday.

Lakeland wasted no time in this one scoring seven runs in the first four innings. They added another three in the seventh.

The D Jays could only muster three hits in this one to go with the single run. Jake Cook went 1-3.

Dunedin and Lakeland play today at 6:00 pm EDT. Giacomo Taschin will start for the D Jays (1-0, 1.99 ERA) against the Flying Tigers Caleb Leys (0-4, 4.86 ERA).
Buffalo Bisons

The Buffalo Bisons were battered for 10 runs and 18 hits by the Charlotte Knights on Friday.

Charlotte scored seven total runs in the six and seventh and put the game out of reach.

Jay Harry had a strong game for Buffalo when he hit a two run homer to make in 10-5 in the bottom of the ninth. He was 4-5 with two runs and three RBI total.The home run was his first at Triple-A.

Grant Rogers gets the start today for Buffalo (2-6, 5.59 ERA). Game time is 6:35pm local time.
