Vancouver Canadians
The Vancouver Canadians lost 7-4 Friday to the Hillsboro Hops at Hop Stadium.
Vancouver had a 1-0 lead after the first but the Hops used a three run fourth to take a lead they did not relinquish.
An eighth inning Vancouver rally saw the Hops lead close to 6-4 Hillsboro added another in the bottom of that inning and held the Canadians off the scoresheet in the ninth.
Peyton Williams was 2-4 in this game with an RBI while Sam Shaw had two runs and two walks.
The series continues today in Hillsboro. Landen Maroudis (0-6, 7.25 ERA) gets the nod for the Canadians against the D-Backs number nine prospect Patrick Forbes . First pitch is at 5:05pm PDT.

Dunedin Blue Jays
The Dunedin Blue Jays lost 6-2 to the Tampa Tarpons Friday.
Dunedin didn’t score until the bottom of the ninth and by that point it was already 6-0 Tampa.

Buffalo Bisons
The Buffalo Bisons lost 12-1 Friday despite scoring the first run of the game in their half of the first.
The Bisons could have used some of Thursday’s offensive magic as they scored a season high 15 but it was Iowa who scored three in the bottom of the first, two in the fifth, and four in the sixth.
Jay Harry scored the lone run for Buffalo and he was 1-4 while Jonatan Clase was 2-4 as was Yohendrink Pinango.
Grant Rogers gets the start today for Buffalo (2-6, 5.34 ERA). Game time is 4:08pm local time.
