A couple of hitters had big games on Wednesday. Willie MacIver hit three home runs, Jojo Parker hit two. It was three wins and no losses in a nice night for the affiliates.

Willie MacIver homered in the second, fourth and fifth innings and drove in four of Buffalo's five runs. MacIver also reached on an error and stole second. Rudy Martin Jr, Eloy Jimenez and rehabbing Jesus Sanchez had two hits each.

Lazaro Estrada was excellent, four innings, five K's. A walk was the only baserunner off him.

Three doubles drove in the first three Vancouver runs. Those doubles came from Alexis Hernandez, Peyton Williams and Edward Duran. The last two runs came from ground outs. Williams and Eric Snow had two hits each.

Troy Guthrie started and gave up three runs in five innings. Holden Wilkerson followed and did not give up a hit in four innings. He struck out six and walked four.

Dunedin played a slugfest, 14 hits to ten for Dunedin. Jojo Parker was the big bopper, two home runs and a single. The top five hitters in the Jays order had 12 of their 14 hits. Jake Cook also had three hits. Blaine Bullard, Juan Sanchez and Giaconino Lasaracina each had two hits. Sanchez had four RBI.

Brandon Barriera came off the IL to start and he wasn't sharp. He was charged with five runs in 1.1 innings. Ricky Tiedemann pitched a clean inning with just seven pitches. His FB averaged 96.5 mph. And to show how baseball has changed, two undrafted free agents finished out the game for Dunedin. Isaac Williams FB averaged 94.4 mph and Dax Dathe's FB was 93.5 mph. Throw mid nineties and can't get drafted.
