It was not a particularly notable day on the farm. Buffalo had the only win and it took eleven innings to get it. New Hampshire and Vancouver were comprehensively beaten, while Dunedin blew a win with a two run error in the ninth inning.
Zac Cook went deep for Dunedin, one of his three hits leading the Jays to the win. Buffalo won in extras as Breyvic Valera hit a tenth inning home run. New Hampshire had to face a top pitching prospect, it didn't go well. And Vancouver lost late, thanks in part to an error.
Jordan Groshans drove in six runs with two home runs as New Hampshire won. Vancouver cored nine in a win. Buffalo scored eight and lost as their bullpen for once was of no help. Dunedin, who were on a tear, lost both ends of a doubleheader.

Buffalo was the only affiliate not to score double figures yesterday. It was a six game clean sweep on the farm. Even though there were 52 runs scored in the five full games played on Thursday, no batter had three hits in a game. The hits were spread around which is good for scoring and for total hitter development. It wasn't a great night for the pitchers. Nick Allgeyer was the only starter who went five innings. Elvis Luciano was the best of the starters.
The affiliates won two out of three Wednesday. A bullpen meltdown and a rainout prevented perfection on the farm.
Only two games were played Tuesday. New Hampshire won and Vancouver lost a strange one. Buffalo's game in Syracuse was not played because someone from the Mets affiliate
tested positive for COVID-19. Duendin's contest in St. Lucie
was scrubbed due to wet field conditions.
There were plenty of home runs for the affiliates on Sunday. How is this for a list of those who homered. Kevin Smith, Gabriel Moreno, Jordan Groshans, Orelvis Martinez, Otto Lopez, Vinny Capra, Addison Barger and Rafael Lantigua. You get a home run, you get a home, everyone gets a home run.
Buffalo, New Hampshire and Vancouver all won, Dunedin lost. On the pitching side Jacob Waguespack and Simeon Woods Richardson stood out.
The Fisher Cats racked up 22 hits in their game. Austin Martin, Samad Taylor and Vinny Capra led the hitters. Elvis was in the building. Buffalo won as did Dunedin. Naswell Paulino pitched well. Vancouver were the only losers on Saturday.
Zach Logue dominated in his first start of 2021 at AAA. Seven shutout innings was just the ticket for a Buffalo win. New Hampshire rallied late for their win. Vancouver struggled while Dunedin split a doubleheader.
Gabriel Moreno hit a grand slam, New Hampshire was down 10-2 at the time, but a slam is a slam. Buffalo won as Thomas Hatch and Nick Allgeyer pitched well. The C's had excellent pitching from Adrian Hernandez and plenty of hitting and won. Dunedin were rained out.

The Blue Jays affiliates won two out of five Wednesday.
The affiliates racked up 30 runs in three games but that was only enough for one win. New Hampshire's game was cut short and will play two today.
Vinny Capra, who I assume is someone's cousin, went deep twice for New Hampshire on Sunday. Samad Taylor also hit his ninth home run. Anthony Kay and Paxton Schultz had similarly disappointing starts. Buffalo couldn't recover but Vancouver did. Dunedin were rained out.
Jordan Groshans came to the plate in the ninth inning of a tied game with the bases loaded. He doubled to clear them. It was more of a bloop to right than a line drive but he will take it. Dunedin bashed out 16 hits in their win. Buffalo lost in extra innings. Vancouver also lost. To add to the Jays injury woes, TJ Zeuch had to leave the game after being hit by a batted ball.

A clean sweep on the farm. Two of the wins came in extra innings. New Hampshire scored two in the ninth and eight in the tenth. Several hitters had big nights. Dunedin got a triple in the tenth from Mac Mueller to win. Buffalo won from the front with Thomas Hatch and Nick Allgeyer pitching. Vancouver got ahead early and cruised, Adam Kloffenstein pitched well.
