This is one vote where's it's hard to come with a reason for not voting for the best year - I often agree with the "all-star, not best first half" reasoning, but ther's not an established star in the bunch here. Castillo has made a few all-star teams before, and I think Roberts and Cano have as well, but none fall into the "you can't have an all-star gamer without ---" category that some like to go for.
So I voted for Polanco, although Roberts is having a great year too.

I tried to vote for Aaron Hill, naturally, but something went
awry.  It's a fine list of second basemen, and it is easy to make
cases for several of them.
A few weeks ago, I thought I'd be voting for Hill, but Brian Roberts has but together a brilliant Q2.  Hard to vote against him.
How do you vote for Hill's .789 OPS  over Robert's .863? Hill had a great April but whether you believe that the All-Star should be just for the first part of the season or for prior seasons, I don't see Hill making any sense here.
