Pepper asked for it, so here it is -- baseball's greatest Gwosdz?

Career OPS of .444 ... I dare anyone to find a better Gwosdz!
Other: the mythical "replacement player" Gwosdz. Nickname: Whoosh.
Wow.. I can't believe you did this! I spat out my coffee when I saw the sidebar.
Apparently Doug was about the greatest defensive catcher ever, but since he hit like a pitcher, he only played in 69 career major league games.
I never saw any of those 69 games (did he ever play the Expos?), so I have no idea if he really was that good defensively.

I sense that Mr. Gwosdz has Legendary Batter's Box Hero potential. As Gary Larson once put it:

How could I not vote for Doug "Eye Chart" Gwosdz, the player with the coolest nickname in all of baseball history?
All I remember is that the Padres would let him play maybe 10 games a year, and they would go like 9-1.
Eye Chart!
There can be only one.
