I admit, I am the "1" (so far anyway) to vote Gary Matthews Jr.
He is the best center fielder, defensively, I have ever seen play -- and it's not close. And this past year, he hit .313/19/79 with 10 SB. if he does 80 percent of that and plays defense like he did in '06, he makes a good defensive club into a great one all by himself.

If Bronson Arroyo can be an ace in the NL imagine what Barry Zito could do.
I vote for Zito, but only if he makes the smart career move and goes to the senior circuit.
I vote for Alfonso Soriano, but Fonzie give us a break, you're not getting Beltran money. I second Newton's assessment of Barry Zito with two qualifiers: 1) He goes to the National League and 2) He joins Rick Peterson, both of which could happen should he join the Mets. In this case I might have to change my vote to Zito. He could also be very scary in SD, SF, or LA, all wonderful places for a flyball pitcher to hide.
