Halladay returns from the DL leading the Jays to a 15-4 victory over Arizona.

* Fordin Notes - Halladay in, Ligtenberg out.

* Stellar return just what Doc ordered. Yesterday's pitch count limit was at 80.

* Elliot on Baseball - Yet, if things go south, we've heard who the Jays have at the top of their charts. It's Oakland A's third base coach Ron Washington.

Journalism pet peeve of mine - using 'we' when you mean 'I'. Apparently Elliot and Jason Stark were in the same class.

* Toronto fans get chance to see a legend.

* Today's Game - The rubber match of the series. Lilly vs Johnson, 1:05 pm.

It's going to be a great game. Lilly is pitching fantastic and nobody on the D'Backs have seen him much. Don't need to say much about the other dude picthing. Hmmm, do I watch this or the big England - France Euro Cup game?

I was at the game yesterday. Originally we were told that section 518 was sold out, so we had to go somewhere else. However we moved over later.
I'm not sure who was there, but I enjoyed the Going Going Zaun chants, and we had a great time.
We also thought that cheering for Catalanotto to the tune of Mr. Roboto was a great time.

Jordan- Watch the football(soccer) game!!
I think I'll flick between both, Lilly has looked strong recently and it will be interesting to see what the bats can do against Johnson. Here's hoping for another series win.
I actually can't wait for England-France, I haven't been this excited about a game for a long long time. The whole of England has been in a frenzy over the start of Euro 2004, I can't imagine the effect the championship is having on the rest of Europe. When I lived in Ottawa the coverage was minimal, but according to various friends football/soccer has really taken off in the last 10 years in Canada. Tonight should be a great advertisement for the game.

Ken's right, England-France should be a beauty. However, watching Johnson pitch is always something to behold, and we won't have too much longer to do it. I hope to catch the game on tape delay this evening, and somehow avoid knowing the score.

It's Randy Johnson pitching today! How can you not watch?

I'm sitting squarely in the "I'll be flickin'" camp, as long as the nephews and the niece don't need me too much...

How can you not watch?

How CAN you? From Griffin's column:

Consider it family bonding time. Take your sons and daughters. Years from now, Hinske said he wants to tell his children that he stared down the Unit in a game. And your kids will be able to tell their sons and daughters they saw the great Randy Johnson pitch in person. And, besides, the game's not on TV.

I'm going to the Pizza Feed now, but I probably won't stay long. Youneverknow; maybe all of us will decide to head down to the Dome for this occasion and join our friends in 518.

Dammit! Not on TV - that just plain sucks!

D'oh, that should read Jonathan not Jordan. Apologies Jonathan

What? Not on TV? I suffer through 5 games of Black and Tabler and I don't get to see Randy Johnson?
Oh, of course -- the 2004 NASCAR Nextel Cup Pocono 500 is much more important. And, if I'm not mistaken, also on FOX today.

England v. France and the Canadian GP in one day? I guess it was too much to ask the programming gods to also give me the Jays game.
_Moffatt - Sunday, June 13 2004 @ 12:11 PM EDT (#58236) #
Wow.. I had no idea the game isn't going to be televised. That's awful.

Did someone say it was going to be tape delayed?

I'd be there, I almost went there, but I'm slowly recovering from a fever. Thought I needed to sit out one more day. Stinks it's not on TV.
