Auburn won both ends of a doubleheader to give them a three game lead with four days left in the season.  Dunedin won their final regular season game as they gear up for the playoffs.  Syracuse, New Hampshire and Lansing finish their regular seasons today.  Both Auburn and New Hampshire are riding seven game win streaks.

Pawtucket 7  Syracuse 4 - 12 innings

Syarcuse tied the game in the bottom of the ninth, Ryan Roberts led off with a single, and later scored on a Sergio Santos single.  The bullpens worked two scoreless innings until Ben Howard allowed three runs in the top of the twelfth.  Ty Taubenheim had started for the Chiefs and went six innings but allowed three runs on nine hits.  Francisco Rosario was the best pitcher, two innings, one hit, two K's.  Five Chiefs had two hits each, Luis Figueroa also had a home run.

New Hampshire at Portland - Postponed

Dunedin 15  Clearwater 8

Dunedin built a 7-1 lead, saw Clearwater come back to tie, but then scored six runs in the seventh to put it away.  Russell Savickas pitched five innings and gave up three runs.  Jesse Litsch, in Dunedin for the playoffs, gave up three runs in a relief, tune-up, appearance.  Cory Patton hit two home runs and drove in three runs; Aaron Mathews drove in four runs and Ron Davenport drove in three.  Dunedin had 15 hits.

Southwest Michigan 8  Lansing 0

Sean Stidfole started and Edward Rodriguez followed but the Lugnuts were down 5-0 in the third.  Lansing had only four hits, only one off the starting pitcher, and were never in this one.

Williamsport 0  Auburn 1 - Game one

Wilfreddy Aguirre went the distance on a four hitter, over seven innings.  Aguirre lowered his ERA to 1.93, pretty good for a nineteen year old.  The only knock on Aguirre is his lack of strikeouts but Aguirre did have eight strikeouts in this game.  Matt Liuzza delivered the game winning hit with a home run in the bottom of the seventh.

Williamsport 2  Auburn 4 - Game two

Auburn had four hits in this game, to go with their four hits in game one, to give them a doubleheader sweep with eight hits in the two games combined.  Luke Hopkins hit a two run home run in the second inning and Matt Liuzza had two hits and scored two runs.  Chris Reddout pitched 5.1 innings for the win.
