One you were probably aware of since September, the other was just scheduled recently.

This is pretty self-explanatory!  Lefty Brian Tallet, who got the final home start of 2009, gets the call here tonight against righty Jake Peavy and the White Sox.

Jays reliever Dirk Hayhurst, pictured right with Brandon League and Shawn Camp in the bullpen prior to a September 10th contest against Minnesota, will be a few blocks away from the Rogers Centre this afternoon.  Beginning at 4:00 p.m., he'll be in Chapters at Festival Hall on 142 John Street to sign copies of his New York Times bestseller, "The Bullpen Gospels".  If you go by this excerpt of the book from Baseball America, it looks like an awesome read.  Hayhurst is currently on the 60-day disabled list with a shoulder injury.

The Final Score of 2009:  This is why we come to the ballpark!  The 40,000-plus fans celebrate after Aaron Hill finished crossing the plate with the winning run September 27th against Seattle.  Hopefully, Hill is back tonight as he recovers from a hamstring pull from the series in Texas last week.  After a long winter, it's finally time to play ball in Toronto!

I sincerely hope Aaron Hill is ready for the home opener - he deserves that roar of the crowd in recognition of his incredible comeback season.
