NOTES

It was a bullpen day for the Bisons. In case you missed it Drew Hutchison left the organization earlier this week. He had a May 31 opt out. Hagen Danner had a rough day. He walked the bases loaded then Quebec's Edouard Julien doubled them all in.

Trevor Schwecke drove in all three Buffalo runs with a couple of singles.

Jimmy Robbins is slowly getting back to his 2022 form. He went five innings on Saturday allowing one run. He struck out five. Andrew Bash had three perfect innings with six K's and TJ Brock pitched the ninth for his first AA save.

Orelvis didn't have a hit but he drove in both NH runs with two ground outs to third base. Riley Tirotta and Zac Cook each had two hits. Tirotta's two hits kept his average over .300.

For Vancouver Dahian Santos gave up two home runs, three runs total, and was charged with the loss.

Alan Roden had two hits and scored three runs. Cade Doughty had two hits and drove in Roden all three times.

Eliander Alcalde started and gave up three runs in 3.2 innings. Dunedin had eight hits, all singles, by seven different hitters.

Guessing with the Hutchison opt-out that Schultz will get promoted (deservedly).

Brock lowers his ERA from 108.00 to 27.00. ;)

Back to Orelvis!!. The numbers say he is a changed man.

May numbers to May 9th were bad. 23ABs, 2H, 1Hr, 3bb, 7Ks. The rest of May 66ABs, 19H, 10Hr, 13bb, 16Ks. June so far 11ABs, 4H, 1Hr, 2bb, 2Ks and he hit 2 doubles.

Definitely outstanding in all O numbers in his last 77ABs. 589ABs in AA so far but he is 21 years old all this season. He must feel confident now. If healthy 300 more ABs left this season. Maybe up to 200ABs in AAA. Don't know if he will go to the AFL.

Time for me to gush!! The changed Orelvis has great Avg, Hr power, bb/K rate. 77ABs is half his season so far, so consistent and not SSS. He also has a strong arm.

For those disappointed in our farm (myself included), looks like we may have that top level prospect we were lacking.

Kloffenstein starting to pitch the 4th after a long wait because the team scored 3 runs on 1 pitcher. The pitcher was pulled so now there was waiting time for the new pitcher to warm up. Will see how Kloffenstein responds. Kloffenstein got them 1,2,3.

Palmegiani is having a nice season: .277/.393/.459 at AA (his first time at that level). Good BB:K ratio. He turned 23 in January.
