Manuel Beltre's family were in Dunedin yesterday and filmed his home run from their perspective, which Beltre has posted on his twitter with full audio: https://twitter.com/manuel_beltre09/status/166880188913827021

He has a very proud Grandmother!

For the 1st 79 ABs Orelvis was terrible. For the next 103 ABs he has been incredible in Avg, bb, k and power. ie dominating.

Starting May 7th DeJesus has made a big improvement. So his hitting has become decent/good. However he is in A+ ball.

Good season from Leo Jimenez. All 3 are strong defensively.

M Dominguez is doing quite well considering 2020 was a lost year. Hopefully he is able to pitch 100 innings this year.

Orelvis' performance makes me really start to think about what his trajectory as a prospect would look like if the Jays hadn't promoted to A+ midway through his 19yr old season - i.e. if he had stayed at A for that whole 19yr old season (where he had a 149wrc+ with very good component stats across the board), and then moved up to A+ for his 20yr old season (instead of starting at AA at 20 like he did), and only now this year moved up to AA in his age 21 season.

He would have still been young for each level there, too.

One thing I forgot to note was Blue Jays director of minor league operations Charlie Wilson was in Vancouver to take in Tuesday's game.

Very excited about Nolan Perry. No games today for our DSL or FCL teams.

Gage Stanifer may pitch tomorrow or Thursday.

bpoz - I think there are real questions about De Jesus' defence SS. He has a promising offensive profile (although there is a ton of swing and miss in his game) and he is pretty athletic but he may not be a SS long term.

Thanks Nigel. I know you go to Vancouver games and have always provided great insights on D and tools that you see. The box scores don't reflect that.

Another outstanding performance from Rafael Ohashi tonight. Won't be long before he heads to Vancouver.
