NOTES

Buffalo took a 2-0 lead in the third. Lenyn Sosa homered and Daz Cameron doubled in a run. Josh Winckowski had been on the IL and came off to start. He threw two shutout innings. Gage Stanifer followed to make his AAA debut. He did walk a hitter and a triple followed to make it a 2-1 game. Stanifer had a 1-2-3 second inning for a pretty successful debut. Chad Dallas followed Stanifer and a home run tied the game 2-2.

Yohendrick Pinango homered to start the sixth. Later Sosa doubled in a run and singles from CJ Stubbs and Rhylan Thomas made it a four run inning. The Bisons liked that so much they did it again in the seventh, four more made it 10-2. Add another in the eleventh and it was 11-2. Meanwhile Daniel Guerra had a little trouble with the strike zone, he walked four while recording four outs. Two of his walks scored.

The Bisons had 17 hits. Rhylan Thomas had four hits, Yohendrick Pinango and Lenyn Sosa had three hits each. Jay Harry and CJ Stubbs had two each. For Harry the hits were welcome. He had come off the IL in mid August and hit the ground running, going 10-24 in his first five games. But then he fell off going 7-44 in eleven games until today.

New Hampshire had another game to forget. When you look back NH started the season with a winning April and continued to have a winning record in the first half. But once the all star game ended they hit the skids, their second half record is 24-41.

That terrible second half continued on Thursday. NH were shutout, they had five hits and made four errors. Meanwhile Harrisburg scored eight runs on 13 hits. Jackson Wentworth was the starter and he was charged with four runs in 4.1 innings.
