I know I haven't written much around here recently, but I really wanted to mention a new blog that I like quite a lot. It's called Dominican Players, and it's by Raul Tavares, a fan from Santo Domingo.

The name is self-explanatory. It's a site about Dominican players. Go read the archives; there's some great stuff in there.

Talking to Mondesi interesting news were found, for example his agent told him that he signed a 8 million contract, but it was a 1.1 million with an option year by the club

Who is Mondesi's agent? That sounds like some mighty crooked behaviour.

Raul, awesome site btw.

A site about Dominican ballplayers? Fantastic! As someone who reads Dominican Winter League websites (and tries to translate enough words to get by), this site sounds great.

How long has this site been in existence?

I wonder if there is anything about Manny Lee, Junior Felix, Jimy Kelly, or Jossephang Bernhardt (all interesting stories for different reasons).

Time to explore...
