Lyle Overbay does that Michael Jordan tongue thing, y'know, where it sticks out the side of his mouth when he's exerting himself. I have about 80 pictures of him spread over two games, and without fail, he's doin' it in every one of them where he's swinging the bat. I'm sure if I got one of him running to cover first or grab a ball he'd be doing the same thing.

Here he is with Toby Hall -- can't see what Toby's tongue is doing under the catcher's equipment, unfortunately. Or maybe fortunately.

We have a Roy Halladay request -- I'm going to try to get it in before the weekend, but I'm sick like a dog and might not get to it until next week. You may have to live with the Russ Adams and Aaron Hill images from the Twins game that I already prepared -- they keep getting pre-empted by better stuff from the D-Rays game.

Aaron Reynolds has been using Pentax cameras and lenses for over 20 years.

The thing I remember about Loiza when he pitched was the curl of his tongue.  When he had his career year he mesmerized batters with it.

This is a great picture;  a study in motion out of the batter's box.
