It is day three of our New Hampshire video series.  Today we focus on some of the Fisher Cat bullpen pitchers, Danny Farquhar; Trystan Magnuson; Boomer Potts and Tim Collins.

As a reminder my scouting report for New Hampshire is here.

The video link is here.

Danny Farquhar pitched mainly underhand against Erie.  The two photos here show Farquhar pitching overhand and side/underarm.  The video shows both styles against a hitter.

Trystan Magnuson didn't have his best stuff but the video shows him getting a couple of swings and misses.

Boomer Potts is shown warming up before an inning.

Tim Collins gets a swing and a miss on a fastball and a take on a good looking curve.  The umpire didn't agree.

That landing posture of Collins gives me right shoulder pain just looking at it, but what do I know about biomechanics...

It looks like he pronates his forearm when throwing his curve(as opposed to the traditional over-the-top, supinating style)... which is a good thing, it dramatically reduces the stress on the shoulder and forearm. A great example of a pitcher who used a pronating curve to reduce wear and tear is Roger Clemens.

I'd link to an articale by Kyle Boddy about pronating when throwing the curve(and other pitches) but his SB Nation site is currently down.
