NOTES
Trey Yesavage started on rehab for Buffalo. He was OK, not great, three runs allowed in 4.1 innings. Jesse Hahn took the loss, his 9.53 ERA doesn't look good.
RJ Schreck had two hits, including his second home run of the season. Yohendrick Pinango had his usual two hits, one a bunt single.
NH had 17 hits and scored 20 runs in their first game. Jace Bohrofen homered twice, drove in five and walked twice. Sean Keys doubled twice, singled and homered. Eddie Micheletti had three hits, two of them doubles. Jackson Hornung had his usual two hits.
Another Jackson, Wentworth, threw five innings, four hits, three K's.
The offense stayed hot in game two, ten more runs on eleven hits. Sean Keys homered, his second on the day and added two singles for six hits total. His average is up to .361. Keys didn't have great numbers last season in Vancouver but plenty of prospect evaluators cited his exit velocities and plate control as reasons for optimism heading into 2026. So far Keys is proving them right. Hornung, like Pinango, is Mr. Reliable with his two more hits.
Just like NH, Vancouver had the bats working. They scored 14 runs with 13 hits. Kendry Chirinos hit a grand slam. Carter Cunningham also hit a grand slam but he added a double, two walks and he was hit by a pitch. Maddox Latta had a solo home run plus a single. Alexis Hernandez tripled twice.
Landen Maroudis was not at his best, 3.1 innings, two runs, two K's. Gilberto Batista gave up four runs in 1.1 innings.
Jojo Parker worked a nine pitch walk with the bases loaded in the tenth to walk it off for a Dunedin win. It was Parkers third walk of the game, along with being hit by a pitch. Jaxson West had two hits, he is hitting .417.
