NOTES
Dylan Cease put the Bisons in a 5-0 hole after three innings. With six hits it was a deficit too big to overcome.
Jon Clase hit a home run, his third, for the only Bisons run. He added a single to give him two hits in the game.
Altoona hit a couple of three run home runs off Alex Amalfi in the fourth inning and that was too much to overcome.
NH had eight hits with two players having a multi hit game, Sean Keys singled and doubled, Aaron Parker had two singles.
Danny Thompson Jr had an excellent start for Vancouver. In five innings he struck out nine and the only hit he gave up was a solo home run. When he left the game the C's led 2-1. Reece Wissinger replaced Thompson and immediately Tri-City his a three run home run and the C's were down 4-2 and could not catch up.
The C's did outhit Tri-City 11 - 5 but Tri-City had two home runs and Vancouver had none. Maddox Latta, Jacob Sharp, Dub Gleed and Edward Duran each had two hits.
Juan Sanchez had two more hits and scored two runs for Dunedin. Aldo Gaxiola also had two hits. Dariel Ramon had a two run double.
Dylan Watts threw six shutout innings with seven K's. Daytona had four hits off him.
The FCL Jays scored 19 runs with 18 hits and Ely Jimenez and Cade Doughty combined to go 0-6. Angel Guzman had a big day. Guzman has been playing well but just below the prospect horizon. His average has hit .300 but he has been generally hitting between .270 and .290. On Thursday he went deep twice, in the second and fifth innings. He doubled twice for 12 total bases in the game. He also walked and drove in five runs. He did so well that the manager decided he needed a rest and pulled him in the seventh inning. Kennew Blanco came on for Cade Doughty in the seventh and went 2-2 with three RBI. Giaconino Lasaracina, Hedbert Perez and Andres Arias also had two hits each.
Miguel Pantoja struck out four in three innings.
