Jacob Sharp had our hits in the affiliates only win on Saturday. With Troy Guthrie making his high A debut, Vancouver won. Buffalo and the FCL Jays were blown out, New Hampshire and Dunedin lost despite outhitting their opponents.

Buffalo took one on the chin on what turned out to be a bullpen day. Six pitchers used, the only one not to allow a run was the catcher William Simoneit who pitched the eighth inning.


Buffalo had eight hits. Josh Kasevich had three and new Bison Daz Cameron had two doubles.


NH outhit Harrisburg 11-10 despite losing. IN the two hit club were Eddie Micheletti, Jorge Burgos, Cade Doughty and Jackson Hornung.


NH had no home runs while the Mets hit a three run shot off Austin Cates in the fourth inning. Cates did go six innings allowing four runs


Vancouver scored two in the fourth and three in the fifth on their way to a win. Peyton Williams hit a two run home run in the fourth. A triple by Jake Casey, followed by doubles from Eric Snow and Jacob Sharp helped score three in the fifth. Snow had two doubles in the game while Sharp was 4-4 with a walk.


Troy Guthrie made his high A debut. He went five innings and gave up two runs. He struck out three.


Like NH Dunedin outhit their opponent but lost. They did have one home run, Juan Sanchez hit his sixth, a solo shot. Jean Joseph had three hits, Jake Cook two.


Carson Messina was a little wild. He was pulled after 61 pitches, 34 strikes and 27 balls. He walked three, struck out three in 3.1 innings. The Phillies scored three off him.


The FCL Jays had three hits, Angel Guzman had two and drove in three runs.

Perry stayed on his feet, but he understandably is coming out of the game. That’s a tough one, it possibly could have been much worse.
