The affiliates won three out of seven Tuesday with a doubleheader sweep being the highlight. The lowlight was a disappointing season finale. Meanwhile, Game 2 of the Gulf Coast League final between the Blue Jays and Red Sox was rained out. The two teams will play this morning in Dunedin for Game 2 and head over to Fort Myers later today if the Jays can force a third and deciding game.
The affiliates lost four out of six and all four losses were of the come-from-ahead variety. The most painful one was down on the Gulf Coast as the Jays are down 1-0 in the best-of-three GCL final. Dunedin's second game against Tampa was rained out and Vancouver had the night off.
The GCL Jays won their semi-final today thanks to good pitching from Justin Maese and timely hitting by Jake Thomas and Juandy Mendoza. New Hampshire won in extra innings, Jack Murphy had the big hit. Richard Urena led Lansing to victory. Vancouver came from behind while Bluefield had to hang on despite conceding a six run ninth. Buffalo were the only losers, Dunedin's game was suspended.

The affiliates won just three of seven Saturday but continued to have the number of their Tigers counterparts.
Four wins and four losses on a Friday for the affiliates.
No wins on the farm. I can’t recall that ever happening.

The Vancouver Canadians lost their third straight to Boise at Nat Bailey Stadium Thursday night.
C's starter
Josh DeGraaf looks like he is shooting with an invisible bow and arrow as he limbers up in the outfield before the game.
The GCL Jays became the second Blue Jay team to make the playoffs with a double header sweep yesterday. The Vancouver Canadians are the only other affiliate with a reasonable chance at reaching the playoffs but they lost yesterday thanks to some shaky defense. Elsewhere Buffalo had a nice win behind Scott Copeland and Jon Berti. Bluefield had a big comeback win. New Hampshire and Lansing both lost while Dunedin had the day off.

The Boise Hawks won their second straight game over the Vancouver Canadians in a slugfest at Nat Bailey Stadium Tuesday night.
Andrew Guillotte is about to cross home plate with Vancouver's first run of the game to tie things at 1-1 in the first inning. Guillotte doubled, went to third on a fly out and scored on a fielding error by Boise pitcher
Dylan Craig.
Just another 2-6 day at the office for the affiliates on Tuesday with the same two teams winning.
A pair of one-run losses and two-run losses produced a 2-6 record on the farm Monday. The DSL Blue Jays dropped the opener of their playoff series.
Drew Hutchison is used to lots of runs support but the Bisons could only register two hits over their nine innings. Taylor Cole pitched well for New Hampshire in their win. Jason Leblebijian had four RBI's for Dunedin in their win, Connor Panas had three for Vancouver, also in a winning cause. The entire Bluefield line-up had three hits but it was good for a win. Matt Smoral was hit in the head by a batted ball. Lansing's game was called due to rain.
A great Saturday night on the farm as the affiliates went 7-2. A loss in Buffalo and a first-game shutout in a doubleheader at New Hampshire were the only blips on the radar.
The affiliates won three and lost four on Friday. A late-inning meltdown in Bluefield tipped the scales the other way. Vancouver's game in Spokane was smoked out due to forest fires in the area.
Fairly tame night on the farm. Our AAA affiliate did not play and our AA affiliate got rained out. The other affiliates went 2-4.
