A perfect night on the farm for the #BlueJays affiliates as they went 2-0 on Monday. New Hampshire had the night off while Dunedin's game was rained out.

We have a pretty good minor league system. Three of our four full season minor league teams are playing .500 baseball or better, we have arguably the best prospect in baseball, and most of our top prospects are playing at our AA or AAA affiliates. I'd like to see a bit more pitching in the system and high-end tools, but it's awfully difficult to be picky given the challenges of our big club. Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend.

The limping Blue Jays entertain Oakland for four. The Jays struggling starting pitchers will try to get on track without JA Happ who started on Wednesday. Oakland has a similar record to Toronto.

Lansing won their ninth in a row. They are one win shy of their record for consecutive wins. Last year Lansing had Vlad and Bo and rode them to a playoff spot in the first half. This years team doesn't have someone like Vlad or Bo but they keep winning and are currently in a playoff spot. New Hampshire's pitchers gave up 21 hits, they lost. And Dunedin continued their slide.

Jordan Romano was working on a no hitter through six innings and then pulled himself from the game with a cramp. The no hitter went bye bye in the eighth with a home run. Vlad Jr. was almost perfect himself, he was 4-4 before grounding out in his last at bat. Cavan Biggio homered. Buffalo had a nice win thanks to a run in the ninth. Devon Travis homered. Dunedin were poor at both ends while the Lugnut juggernaut kept going. Kevin Smith and Brock Lundquist homered.

Two overtime wins and a doubleheader split for the #BlueJays affiliates Tuesday. Buffalo's game in Pawtucket was rained out.

A walk-off win, a walk-off loss and a slugfest resulted in the #BlueJays affiliates winning two out of three Monday. Dunedin's game in Tampa was rained out. They will look to play two today.

Here is your abbreviated, due to family commitments, minor league update. Rowdy Tellez had a big game but couldn't stop the Bisons from being walked off. New Hampshire also were walked-off despite the efforts of Vlad Jr. and Cavan Biggio. Dunedin had another come from behind win and Lansing also won.

Buffalo won 7-0, New Hampshire lost 7-1. Dunedin won 6-2, Lansing came back from 4-0 down to win 9-4. Today's MLU features random observations coming out of today's games.

The two Kevins made sure the #BlueJays affiliates were not shutout in the win column Tuesday.

The #BlueJays take on the Seattle Mariners in this mid-week series at the Dome.

Casey Lawrence - pitching for the Mariners Sunday at Safeco Field - was 0-3 with an 8.78 earned run average with Toronto last year.

The #BlueJays affiliates lost three of four Monday but the biggest concern is the injury suffered to the team's top pitching prospect. The good news was the team's top hitting prospect had an epic night in New Hampshire.
