The FCL Jays have the hottest hitters in the league and they racked up 14 runs on Saturday. Buffalo hitters are doing pretty good too and both these teams won. It was Buffalo's fifth win in a row. Vancouver finally tired of being beaten up by Everett and rallied for a come from behind, walk off win. And it was a no hit, walk off. Behind these teams there was a scarcity of hits as New Hampshire and Dunedin lost.

Hat tip to Josh Norris from BA for the title. Orelvis hit his 18th home run and Sem Robberse pitched well in a Dunedin win. Riley Adams has a hot bat at the moment too and he helped Buffalo win. Austin Martin is another who hit well and New Hampshire won. Adam Kloffenstein was roughed up as the C's lost.

New Hampshire scored four in the bottom of the ninth for the walk off win. Buffalo scored seven in the bottom of the eighth for the almost walk off win. Vancouver can't handle the Everett juggernaut while Dunedin won. The FCL Jays were on the losing end of a walk off.

Rain stopped play in all three east coast games. When play resumed in Florida, Orelvis Martinez hit three home runs and drove in nine. He is on fire this past week, in the five games against Clearwater he has seven home runs and three four hit games. This will immediately lead to calls to send him to Vancouver. We have to wait and see if he does the same next week against Lakeland. But if he has nothing left to prove in low A, then Vancouver could be in for a treat.

The Buffalo game was suspended but New Hampshire and Dunedin managed to complete their games. New Hampshire and Vancouver lost with late bullpen blow ups. Dunedin were the only winners.

Orelvis Martinez had a big night and has stepped up to another level in July. Breyvic Valera and Kevin Smith starred for Buffalo while Alejandro Kirk scuffles. New Hampshire had a nice comeback win thanks to Kevin Vicuna's first home run of the season. Vancouver took the only loss for the affiliates as CJ Van Eck struggled.

There were just two games on Sunday with two rainouts. Even the Dunedin game had to survive a rain delay. The Tampa domination of Dunedin continued, the Jays were held to two hits. So it was left to Vancouver to save the day. A pair of two run home runs and an excellent start by Adam Kloffenstein got the win.

The Tampa Yankees are one of the best teams in the minor leagues. The racked up 78 runs on Dunedin in the opening six games of the season. So it was more of the same when they scored 21 runs in the first game of a doubleheader yesterday. But, in the second game, in "you never know in baseball", one of the hottest teams in baseball were held to one run by three pitchers with ERA's over six at the start of the game. Orelvis homered, again, in game one. Elsewhere Breyvic Valera led the Bisons to a win. New Hampshire and Vancouver lost. The complex Jays split a doubleheader and had some good hitting and pitching performances.
