It was a tough weekend on the farm. Buffalo went 0-4, New Hampshire 1-3, Lansing 0-2 and Vancouver 1-2. Dunedin were off.

The Jays have one of the better hitting prospects in the minors in Bo Bichette. He is now hitting an even .400 on the season.

The Pale Hose are coming to town.

Does anyone still call them "The Pale Hose?" Did anyone ever?

Ryan Borucki picked up ten strikeouts, didn't allow an earned run, but took the loss. TJ House had a good start, supported by Rowdy Tellez, and Buffalo won. Both Borucki and House were bouncing back from bad starts. New Hampshire and Lansing were both rained out. Vancouver start their season on Thursday.

Rounds 11-40 of the draft are on today.

Two shutout victories but three losses on Tuesday for the affiliates, including a 13-inning setback.

The Blue Jays return home to start a five-game homestand as they host the Tampa Bay Rays for two games.

The Blue Jays farm system celebrated draft night by winning all of its three games Monday. Buffalo and New Hampshire had the night off.

The Minnesota Twins have selected shortstop Royce Lewis from JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, California with the first overall pick. Jordan Romano pitched a seven inning one hitter on Saturday with nine strikeouts. Lucas Harrell returned to AAA with an excellent start of five shutout innings. Chris Rowley had a good start, Sean Reid-Foley did not. Bo Bichette kept on hitting. Bradley Jones notched his first home run for Dunedin.

The Toronto Blue Jays finish up their six-game road trip in their home away from home on the West Coast, Safeco Field in Seattle.

The draft is almost upon us. Monday is the day for the top picks, followed by numerous picks on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Jays pick late this year although they do have two picks in the first round. The Jays pick at 22 and 28.
