The #BlueJays affiliates lost three of four Monday but the biggest concern is the injury suffered to the team's top pitching prospect. The good news was the team's top hitting prospect had an epic night in New Hampshire.
Strong pitching performances at all levels as the usual suspects continued to hit.

Justin Dillon has started four games for Dunedin this year and sports a 4.82 ERA. So when Buffalo needed pitching help with all the Blue Jays moves, they called on Dillon and he was thrown into his first AAA game to protect a 2-0 lead. Dillon pitched 2.2 innings, didn't allow a hit or a walk, and his first five outs came via the strikeout. Three pitchers combined on a shutout, including another newbie, Conor Fisk, up from AA. Jon Harris had another tough start and New Hampshire lost, despite another home run from Vlad Jr. Dunedin lost despite a good start from TJ Zeuch. Lansing won behind a strong outing by Maverik Buffo.
Since Andrew Case became a closer the phrase "Case Closed" has been used by team broadcasters to signify the save. On Wednesday Case came into the game with a two run lead and turned it into a two run deficit. The Fisher Cats lost.
The Bisons fought back from a two run deficit themselves to tie the game but lost in walk-off fashion in the bottom of the ninth. Dunedin had a lead but then had a nightmare inning and lost. Lansing cruised to their usual win scoring six times with their strong offense. It was the lone affiliate win on Wednesday.

The #BlueJays affiliates needed a come-from-behind victory to avoid being shutout in the win column Tuesday.
The #BlueJays affiliates had just two games but they won both Monday night. Dunedin and Lansing had the night off.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. continues to impress in AA and a number of stellar pitching performances dot your weekend MLU.

Only Dunedin and Lansing were in action and both of them had the bullpen blow leads. Dunedin survived to win in extra innings. Lansing came back to win in the ninth. It was a hitters night, the Dunedin hitters had 18 hits, the Lansing hitters had 16. Both Buffalo and New Hampshire had a scheduled day off. Lansing second baseman Cullen Large had a five hit night. Dunedin's Rodrigo Orozco had four.

Lansing racked up 13 runs on 14 hits and cruised. Every starter had a hit. Buffalo won 5-2 with Reece McGuire homering and Ryan Borucki pitching well. New Hampshire were walked off, literally, even though Vlad had three hits. Dunedin played two and lost both by 4-3 scores.
The #BlueJays affiliates split four games down the middle Tuesday.
The affiliates won just one out of three Monday. Dunedin's game in Lakeland was postponed due to wet grounds.
Richard Urena debuted and the affiliates played .500 plus baseball over the weekend. A general success, though the Nate Pearson wait continues.

Jordan Romano was outstanding for New Hampshire in a day game on Thursday. Over seven innings he allowed one run on two hits. The Fisher Cats won with Lourdes Gurriel hitting his first home run of the year. Dunedin were held to three hits and lost. Kevin Vicuna made three errors and Lansing lost by a run. He tried to compensate with four hits. Yesterday Logan Warmoth made three errors so there is some butter fingers among the systems shortstops.
Roger Clemens was famous for his strikeouts. He finished his career with 4,672 of them. His son Kacy is not so fond of the K's. In 45 plate appearances Clemens has 15 walks and only seven punch-outs. What would happen if he faced his father? Clemens walked twice, and had two hits, on Wednesday to lead Lansing to victory. One of his hits was a triple, and he stole a base, showing some ability on the bases. New Hampshire also won with Vlad Jr. doing his usual hitting. And Dunedin won with Dalton Pompey having a good night and Anthony Alford one to forget. Just like the Blue Jays it was a sweep night on the farm.
Buffalo and New Hampshire were rained out. Dunedin and Lansing had the day off.
