Sean Reid-Foley had nine strikeouts with only one hit allowed as Dunedin won 1-0. Max Pentecost homered twice but Ryan Borucki and Starlyn Suriel lost the lead in the eighth inning. Bluefield were the only other winners on Sunday. The bullpen blew a lead in the ninth but Juandy Mendoza drove in two runs in the eleventh. Rowdy Tellez's hot streak ended. Shane Dawson pitched Ok but used too many pitches in five innings. Justin Maese had to leave Vancouver's game when he was hit by a line drive.

The Vancouver Canadians snapped a three-game losing streak with a convincing Canada Day victory over Spokane.

Buffalo and Lansing had good come from behind wins. Buffalo came from behind twice in the last two innings. Melky Mesa had the game winning hit but Darrell Ceciliani had the game tying home run. Conor Panas also hit a game tying home run before Lansing went ahead.

New Hampshire, Dunedin and Bluefield had big wins. Dwight Smith hit home runs in back to back innings, including a grand slam. In Dunedin's game Emilio Guerrero had a two run sac fly, Anthony Alford scored from second.

Vancouver and the GCL Jays lost badly. But many prospects had good days, read the whole thing!

Five wins in six games, only New Hampshire had a loss. Most of the wins were democratic. Every Buffalo hitter had a hit. Eight Lansing hitters reached. The bottom third of Vancouver's order scored five of their six runs. Three pitchers eached pitched three innings for the Canadians. Bluefield also used three pitchers for multiple innings. On the prospect side, Vlad Jr went deep again. Richard Urena had a a nice day as did Andy Burns. Rowdy Tellez had two hits. Anthony Alford had a big double. On the other hand, Conner Greene and Jon Harris were roughed up a bit.
