Getting to the final days of spring now - time for someone to step up.

The battle for second place...

Figured it was time to start anew. Jays now 2nd or 3rd worst in the AL (depending how you count it) at 2-7. Yankees using up all their luck now at 10-3, while Boston & Baltimore are solidly mediocre at 5-6 and 6-5 respectively. Tampa a tiny bit better at 6-4.

It's a previewy time of year...

Uh oh, panic time. Jays are 0-3 in spring. Time to fire everyone! Oh, these games don't count? OK. ::steps off ledge::

It will take you a little bit longer for you to get inside Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo from now on. The team recently announced it will have metal detectors at the ballpark entrances in place for the 2017 season.

This is where we sweat the little things...

So the World Baseball Classic (WBC) is upon us soon and 10 Jays are going.

The off-season slog continues but we're getting closer to Spring Training.

Steve Ewen of The Vancouver Province says new turf may be installed at Nat Bailey Stadium in 2017 due to some bad hops in the infield.


The infield may have a different look at Nat Bailey Stadium this upcoming season.

It's a boring time of year for baseball. Joey Bats is back with the Jays, Mark Trumbo is back with the Orioles. Not a whole lot else going on.

The Toronto Blue Jays have rounded out its minor league managing and coaching staffs for the 2017 season. The most notable move sees Blue Jays legend Devon White (or Whyte) becoming the new hitting coach of the Buffalo Bisons.


Devon White will be in charge of the Blue Jays Triple-A hitters in 2017.

It appears that Jose Bautista is coming back on a one, or two, or one plus an option year deal. Details are yet to be confirmed but it seems as though both sides want the deal to happen. The first year salary will be for more than $17.2M.
