Only two games were played on Sunday. Buffalo were rained out and Dunedin had a scheduled day off. New Hampshire won behind stellar pitching from Luis Santos. Lansing also won with Francisco Rios continuing to pitch well. The winning hit for Lansing was a two run triple by Jake Anderson.

The Jays have now guaranteed that they will come out of April with a losing record.
This is not unusual, of course.
It's been a long time since I did one of these, but the incomparable
baseball-reference.com has
eliminated much of the heavy lifting that used to be required. (It used
to take hours just to discover who'd worn each number for a
given team.) I've skipped the San Diego Padres (wouldn't you?) - just thinking about the Padres sapped my enthusiasm, my energy, my very will to live - and proceeded straight to The Saga of the Giants! Some Windy Baseball Lore, for a day with no baseball.
Is it OK to bunt to break up a no-hitter? Ian Parmley did that in the sixth inning. Having been no hit in the previous game it was the 15th no hit inning for New Hampshire over two days. It didn't help as the Fisher Cats lost and had just two hits. Buffalo enjoyed a walk off with Domonic Brown driving in the winning run. Lansing had a shutout win behind strong pitching by Angel Perdomo. Dunedin lost easily.

If you were already in a bad mood after the parent club's Tuesday night debacle, the news down on the farm won't help. There was a no-hitter, an extra-innings setback after a blown lead in the ninth and a Bronx Bombing in the Sunshine State. The only positive on the night was a shutout victory.
There was just one game on Monday and it was an overtime winner.
That's the first place White Sox, by the way. The team with the best record in the American League. It's the return of Brett Lawrie, Dioner Navarro, and Melky Cabrera.
We obviously need one. Colabello is eligible to return around the All-Star Break, although he won't be eligible to play in any 2016 post-season games.
So what will happen? What should happen?
When you need a three run home run to win a game, Jon Berti is not the first name that comes to mind but he delivered for New Hampshire on Sunday. Dunedin won thinks in part to walks by ex-Jay Jairo Labourt. Christian Lopes had two hits including a home run. Lansing lost despite a good game from Andrew Guillotte. The Bisons also lost when Ryan Tepera had a really bad day.
Over the weekend Sean Ried-Foley, Shane Dawson and Conner Greene had good starts. Tom Robson was wild. Richard Urena came back from a few days off and hit a home run. But the biggest news came when three Dunedin pitchers combined on a no hitter.

April is the cruelest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.
Don't you know by now? If it's April, the Blue Jays must have a losing record.
A solid pitching performance in Lansing and a come from behind victory in Buffalo. Your affiliates went 2-1 on the night.

Domonic Brown had two bombs and four RBI for the Bisons. Wade LeBlanc pitched well for the win. The two Davis's hit well for the D Jays who also had a nice win. New Hampshire and Lansing were well beaten. Dalton Pompey left the Bisons game with a reported leg injury. Richard Urena did not play for Dunedin.

Another splitsville day on the farm in which the affiliates won two and lost two. A shutout loss was the lowlight but that was balanced out by a walk-off victory Tuesday night.
The Orioles. The first-place Orioles.
