Boston vs Houston, LA vs Brewers. Brewers off to a good start in game 1 actually getting to Kershaw.
The Jays are gone but the baseball goes on. And we've all got to cheer for someone, right?
Here's how to do it.
Ask and ye shall receive.....ayjackson asked for a minor league thread to discuss BA's top 20's by league lists. I have been away so I am playing catch-up here. One thing to note about these lists is league size. For example the Midwest League had 16 teams, the GCL 18. So there is just over one top 20 spot per team. The Northwest League has 8 teams, the Appy League ten. If you play in those two leagues you have almost double the chance to make a top 20 list. Through four affiliates, the full season teams, the Jays have just five players make the lists.

Abandon all hope, ye who enter here. It wasn't the Season From Hell, but there was punishment.
There were 33 of them this season - three have already been replaced (Price, Matheny, Banister), two of them with interim place-holders. We know the Blue Jays and Rangers will definitely be looking for someone new for next year. The Reds probably will as well (interim skipper Jim Riggelman is described as a candidate for next year, but he's also 65 years old.) Maybe the Angels and Royals will make a change. Probably the Orioles. Maybe the Mets.

That was better. The Jays got a terrible start from the 35 year old veteran who'll be a free agent in a few weeks (some pretty iffy defense didn't help, at a time when dear old Marco needs every bit of help he can get.) But they got a couple of strong starts from two of the youngsters who may indeed be part of the 2019 rotation. And messing with the Yankees... well, it just makes life worth living.
Well, you'd have to say the first part of this long road trip turned out roughly as expected.
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats take on the Akron RubberDucks in a best-of-five Eastern League final.
The Jays begin their last major road trip of 2018 tonight by visiting
Fenway Park. That's where the Red Sox play, as you certainly know, and the Red Sox are really, really good. And
Fenway is where the Jays have already lost 6 of 7 games in this disappointing
campaign.
With Lansing losing last night there is just one Blue Jay minor league team still in action. Your Fisher Cats take a 2-0 series lead into Trenton tonight for game three. Jordan Romano takes the mound for the Cats.

New Hampshire and Lansing resume their series tonight. Lansing must win to get to a decisive game three, lose and they go home. New Hampshire hope to build a 2-0 lead in a five game series.

The #BlueJays take on Josh Donaldson's new employer for four games at the Dome.
