California, here we come. Who's ready to stay up late?
When did this all get started?
The affiliates were in line for a perfect Tuesday but Vancouver could not close the deal.
Four wins in four games for your Sunday. New Hampshire and Vancouver both won with walk-offs while Dunedin handily won both ends of a doubleheader. Buffalo were rained out.
This is your abbreviated, long weekend, 12 hour power failure, minor league update. Zach Britton was the offense for Vancouver in their win. He went deep twice, including a walk off bomb, and scored all of the C's three runs. Gabriel Moreno had four hits including his first home run. Buffalo won in eleven innings. New Hampshire lost despite hitting four home runs. Hayden Juenger and Adam Kloffenstein ran into some trouble.
Maximo Castillo was dominant in pitching seven innings as Buffalo won. Ricky Tiedemann also had an excellent debut as Vancouver recorded a narrow victory. Dahian Santos also pitched wll and Dunedin had a third win for the affiliates. New Hampshire were the exception and lost.

We don't see these guys very often.
Buffalo split a doubleheader with good pitching, holding Syracuse to two runs total over two games. New Hampshire scored just one run over their two games, their hitting was generally absent and the pitching poor. Vancouver's bullpen and some errors cost them their game while Dunedin also were let down by a pitcher and lost.
Vancouver was shut out and Dunedin came up a couple of runs short Wednesday. Buffalo's game against Syracuse was rained out and so was New Hampshire's game in Erie. The Bisons and Fisher Cats will play two today.
Buffalo, New Hampshire and Vancouver all won big Tuesday night. Dunedin failed to make it a perfect night for the affiliates.
Home, sweet home. That was one crummy road trip.
The hitters were the stars on Sunday. Buffalo won one, of two, with New Hampshire and Dunedin also winning. Vancouver were blown out.
The minor league season is around one fifth done, with one fifth being 30 games. So I thought it was time to have a look at how the prospects in the system are doing. The start of the season is often slow as players get accustomed to a new level and as the weather does not always cooperate. So this is an early look with lots of baseball yet to be played.
Nick Frasso, Dahian Santos and Braden Scott combined for 24 strikeouts as Dunedin won 1-0. There is a full pitching breakdown below. Vancouver split a doubleheader, New Hampshire lost and Buffalo were rained out.
