Vancouver was the offensive star of the evening, they picked up their first win with 12 hits and 12 walks. Dunedin split a doubleheader as Blaine Bullard hit his first pro home run. Buffalo and New Hampshire each suffered a one run loss.

Buffalo and Vancouver found hits hard to come by. Buffalo had five hits total over two games but came away with two wins. Vancouver's four hits were not enough. The big hitters were New Hampshire who knocked out 14 hits in their win. Dunedin were rained out again.

New Hampshire won, Vancouver lost, Dunedin's game was suspended and Buffalo's game was snowed out. The latter two games will be made up today.

Easter Sunday saw two losses and a rain out. Dunedin were not scheduled to play. Buffalo lost by one run while Vancouver lost to a walk off home run, both close but no Easter presents.

Six games played on Saturday with three wins and three losses. Yorman Licourt had a big day for Dunedin, two home runs and four walks. Several 2025 draftees made their debuts. As I did last year I am not providing play by play descriptions of games, thats available through the scores link. Instead I am highlighting players or plays of interest. Here we go.

We are now officially back with all four Toronto Blue Jays affiliates in action.

Buffalo pitchers let Omaha score nine runs on Thursday. They did score seven themselves but that wasn't enough. Dunedin's season opener was rained out.

Buffalo are in Omaha and they were held to three hits, not enough for a win. And remember Dunedin starts tomorrow, Thursday.

The Herd are back at .500 after winning its first road game of 2026.

After starting with two losses the Bisons won a game. They played two on Sunday so one of the losses was game one. The pitchers were facing a fairly good Yankee lineup featuring Jason Dominguez, Oswaldo Cabrera, prospect Spencer Jones, Paul De Jong and a couple of catchers familiar to Buffalo fans, Payton Henry and Ali Sanchez.

Baseball’s back at the major and minor league levels with the Buffalo Bisons getting pounded by the Scranton/WB Railriders 8-0 Friday.

Buffalo starts the minor league season tomorrow, Friday. They start at home in what you would not call baseball weather. New Hampshire and Vancouver start a week later. Dunedin starts a day before NH and Vancouver as they do not play on Easter Sunday. The complex league starts in May.
