Buffalo won behind another rehab start from Alek Manoah. Adam Macko is pitching well in Manoah's shadow. Vancouver had outstanding pitching from Austin Cates and big hitting from Carter Cunningham on their way to a big win. New Hampshire lost and Dunedin were rained out.

It was a tough night on the farm for pitchers and hitters. The hitters had 25 hits across five games, thats just five per game. Only two hitters had a multi hit game. The pitchers also had a tough day. Each of Trey Yesavage, Fernando Perez and Johnny King did not meet expectations. None of them went five innings. The affiliates won one game out of five.

Is is unusual for a player to have four RBI in a game, it's not something that happens every day. But on Saturday three players did it. Jevon Ward hit two home runs to get his four RBI. New Hampshire split a doubleheader. Yorman Licourt hit his first A ball home run on his way to four RBI and a Dunedin win. Carter Cunningham hit a grand slam for Vancouver. He was overshadowed by JR Freethy who had four hits and reached base six times. With both those players producing Vancouver won. Buffalo lost. And all of this hitting ignores Grant Rogers who produced another excellent start for New Hampshire.
Two wins and two losses on Friday. Kendry Chirinos had a big game for Dunedin and Johnny King was his usual dominant self on the mound but the D Jays had to go to extra innings for the win. Buffalo behind Shane Bieber and George Springer had a 2-0 win. Fernando Perez made his first AA start with mixed results. Vancouver also lost.

Thursday saw a number of pitching debuts. Trey Yesavage was a little wild in his AAA debut but the Bisons came back with plenty of hitting to win. Austin Cates made his high A debut falling one out short of five innings. Vancouver, like Buffalo got the bats working and won. Dunedin hitters took game one off but behind debutant Dayne Pengelly scored 16 runs to win game two and split the doubleheader. New Hampshire were on track for the win but Kai Peterson, just promoted, let Binghamton back in and the Fisher Cats lost in extra innings.
