Buffalo walked it off and the Dominican Jays were also winners. New Hampshire was shut out, Vancouver lost and Dunedin was no-hit.

After a no win Saturday it was headed to be a repeat, a no win Sunday. The only hope for a win was Vancouver but they trailed 6-5 with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. Cue Brennan Orf who delivered a two run double to turn a 4 loss into a one win Sunday. We treasure these small wins these days.

It was a no win Saturday on the farm. Buffalo and New Hampshire went to extra innings and both lost. Vancouver lost in the ninth inning. The FCL Jays lost twice. Dunedin were rained out.

Buffalo and Scranton combined for six hits through ten innings. Buffalo won in ten innings with a wild pitch. Vancouver scored three runs without a hit but lost in extra innings. New Hampshire won a 3-2 game but Dunedin had all the hits and won comfortably. DBowden Francis, Devereaux Harrison, Kendry Rojas and Nolan Perry all pitched well.

Dunedin won a couple of games this week with just three hits. Buffalo went one better, winning with just two hits. A Damiano Palmegiani home run was enough in a 1-0 game. Vancouver's bats were working well as they had 16 hits in their win. New Hampshire lost and were swept for the week. Arjun Nimmala homered again but Dunedin also lost.

Vancouver were the only winners on Saturday. Robert Brooks hit a three run home run while Rafael Sanchez struck out nine.

Dunedin won on Thursday despite having just three hits in the game. So they decided to do it again on Friday. Three hits is the new guaranteed win night. Unfortunately that was the only positive as the other three teams lost again in a complete repeat of Thursday.

Dunedin had just three hits but they scored four runs and won the game. Arjun Nimmala homered again. Buffalo, New Hampshire and Vancouver lost. Buffalo had six hits while New Hampshire and Vancouver four each. That totals 17 hits between four teams.

It hasn't been a good start to the second half at the top of the system. The major league club has sucked players out for sure but even so it looks ugly. The Bisons are 4-11 while New Hampshire are 3-10. Vancouver did start the second half with a big winning streak and are at 14-4. Dunedin have been playing the better recently and their record is 10-7. At the bottom of the system the FCL Jays are 10-37, the DSL team is 14-11.

The Blue Jays were three-up, two-down in the win-loss column on Tuesday. The Dominican Jays did not play because of lightning.

Alan Roden hit a grand slam for Buffalo but it wasn't enough as Buffalo lost in extra innings. New Hampshire almost played extra innings but they scored the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. Vancouver scored their winning run in the eighth. The Dunedin game ended early after Yeuni Munoz suffered an injury and had to be carried off the field. In total three wins for the affiliates.

Vancouver and Dunedin were Friday's winners. Arjun Nimmala stayed hot.

There wasn't much to talk about on the field with all the affiliates losing so lets take a look at how the Jays prospects are doing now that we have passed mid-season.
