New Hampshire and Vancouver combined to score 27 runs but only one of them won. The Dominican Jays were nearly no-hit and were shut out. Buffalo's and Dunedin's games were scrubbed.

Joey Votto made his first start for Buffalo and he did indeed hit a big fly. Buffalo won easily. Rafael Sanchez threw a complete game shutout for New Hampshire. It was just seven innings but complete games are rare in the minor leagues. A number of the Jays lesser pitching prospects had had nice starts in the past few days. Alex De Jesus drove in five runs between the two games. Vancouver took one on the chin. Dunedin were tropical stormed out.

A couple of Will's, Robertson and Wagner, hit well for Buffalo but Eric Pardinho couldn't get an out and Buffalo lost. Grant Rogers made his high A debut and was outstanding, shutting down Tri-City to get the win for Vancouver. Dunedin's bats were en fuego including Arjun Nimmala who went deep again. New Hampshire were rained out.

Phil Clarke hit a three run home run in the ninth inning to help Buffalo win. New Hampshire won with good hitting and pitching. Jacob Sharp drove in five runs for Vancouver but they lost in extra innings. Dunedin had a nice win.

What's left of the 2024 Blue Jays will continue their road trip in the Bronx, where the Yankees are waiting. There could be carnage.

Buffalo played two games and Will Robertson homered in both games. They were both notable home runs, an inside the park homer and a grand slam. Buffalo split the doubleheader. Arjun Nimmala also homered, one of three hits in the game. It wasn't enough for Dunedin. Vancouver had an extra innings walk off win. New Hampshire had good pitching but not enough hitting.

The hitters returned after a quiet Saturday. Cade Doughty and Arjun Nimmala were among the hitters going deep. The starting pitchers for the top three affiliates combined to allow one earned run. Buffalo and New Hampshire won while Vancouver lost to a team with two hits in the game. Dunedin didn't have a good start and lost.
